Yes. No credit card. No trial period that converts to a charge. No hidden fee waiting around the corner. Journey Pathway is free because I believe access to financial education should not be locked behind a paywall. The workshops, the recordings, The Reading Room, Progress Circles, and the community are all yours at no cost. When and if you are ready for done-for-you bookkeeping, Calm Books Circle is here. But Pathway itself is simply free.
What's the catch?
There is no catch. Journey Pathway exists because information should be free. My philosophy is straightforward: the teaching, the language, the tools — those are available to everyone. Working with me directly is what you pay for. Calm Books Circle is where that happens. Pathway is where you start, stay, and learn — for as long as it serves you, at no cost.
How is Journey Pathway different from Calm Books Circle?
Journey Pathway is free and focused on learning and community. You attend workshops, access recordings, use The Reading Room, and connect with other solopreneurs — but your bookkeeping is still yours to manage. Calm Books Circle is the paid service tier where I handle your books in Kick every month, you receive a plain-language financial summary, and you have access to Clarity Hours for bookkeeping questions. Pathway teaches you the language. Calm Books Circle takes the work off your plate.
Do I have to attend workshops live?
No. Every workshop is recorded and added to the replay library. You can watch on your own schedule, in whatever order makes sense for where you are right now. That said, live attendance gives you the chance to ask questions and get real answers in the moment — which is worth showing up for when you can. Both ways of engaging are completely valid.
What is The Reading Room?
The Reading Room is a growing library of short videos teaching you how to read your financial statements, what your numbers actually mean, and what to look for as your business grows. General questions are answered in chat or video replies. It is asynchronous, which means you access it on your schedule with no live attendance required. This is where the language of your business finances lives — available to you at no cost, inside Journey Pathway.
What are Progress Circles?
Progress Circles is a monthly live gathering open to both Journey Pathway and Calm Books Circle members. It is a gentle space to reflect on what is unfolding in your business, share what is shifting, or simply show up and listen. There is no agenda, no performance, and no pressure to report wins. Some months you will have something to share. Some months you will quietly take it in. Both are completely welcome.
Can I upgrade to Calm Books Circle later?
Yes, anytime. There is no deadline and no pressure. When you are ready to hand your bookkeeping to someone else and have your books handled every month, Calm Books Circle is the natural next step. Your transition will be seamless — you are already part of the community, so nothing starts from scratch.
Do I need any financial knowledge to start?
None. Journey Pathway is built for service-based solopreneurs who are starting from wherever they are — including the beginning. The workshops are taught in plain language. The Reading Room explains concepts without accounting jargon. You do not need to know what a reconciliation is or how to read a profit and loss statement before you walk in. That is exactly what you will learn.
